We traditionally celebrate American independence with fireworks …and with democracy come fireworks of a different sort as every major election approaches. We’ll be looking tonight at which fuses are being lit in the 2010 mayoral and congressional contests.
We’ll also take a special look at the greening of Louisiana and we will check in on the latest from the William Jefferson trial. Our Future Watch segment looks at The Children’s Museum.
In our parade are tonight’s Informed Sources:
-- Errol Laborde, producer, Informed Sources.
    -- Dave McNamara, freelance documentarian.
-- Kevin McGill. Reporter, Associated Press.
-- Dawn Ostrom, our Future Watch reporter.
And our host Larry Lorenz

We’ve been away for two weeks because of the Channel 12 art auction, meanwhile our gallery is splattered with images including the last days of the legislative session, the appointment of a new archbishop, mischief in the police evidence room, more delays for the downtown hospital, a new police training facility and a championship for LSU. All these plus our Future Watch segment, which looks at the Martin Marietta space facility, are on display for tonight’s Informed Sources:
-- Errol Laborde, Producer, Informed Sources.
-- Allen Johnson, freelance journalist.
-- From Baton Rouge, John Maginnis, Publisher, LaPolitics weekly
-- Dawn Ostrom, our Future Watch reporter.
And our host Larry Lorenz
